Your privacy and the protection of your personal data is important to us. This Privacy Notice explains the type of personal data Takeda may collect from you and how we use it in relation to SEA Rare Disease Summit 2022 (“Event”).
Takeda is a globally operating group of companies. The Takeda enterprise includes the parent company Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited, and its affiliated entities (together “Takeda” or “We”). We may process the following types of personal data such as name, address, email and other contact information, job title, professional background, and any other information you provide to us, for the purposes of processing your registration, and administering your participation in this Event
(“Purpose”). This sending or making available to you information about the Event’s content, updates
,and additional information related to the event.
Our use of your personal data as described above is necessary for the Purpose explained above where in accordance with your request, or otherwise based on your consent.
We may share your information with third parties whom we collaborate with or engage to fulfil the above purposes. This includes Flex Solutions, Co., Ltd. which we have engaged to process and communicate with you on your registrations.
The sharing of your personal data may involve transfers to other countries. The data protection laws in these countries may not provide the same level of protection as your home country. Takeda will put in place safeguards to adequately protect your personal data in connection with such transfers, including contractual protections for which you may request additional information from us.
We keep your personal data for 6 months after participation in the conference at which point all data will be securely deleted, unless you provide your consent for us to contact you for other purposes in which case we will store your personal data for as long as we maintain a business relationship with you or you withdraw your consent.
You may have the right to request access to, rectification and/or deletion of your personal data, or that its use be restricted.
